Jonathan Bonezzi

Jonathan Bonezzi is a Master of Architecture candidate (‘26) at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design.

Before attending graduate school, he worked as a Project Designer & Editor at Bowen+ in Cleveland, Ohio leading projects in the programming, schematic, and design development phases; followed by coordinating construction documentation and construction administration under Project Managers Jonathan Golli, Ken Emling & Kyle Hulewat. He has experience with 8 built design projects and multiple conceptual proposals; differing in scale, program and complexity from civic transit facilities, to multi-family residential construction, and commercial/office.

From 2021-2023, Jonathan held an appointed seat on the City of Cleveland’s Landmarks Commission, responsible for the bi-weekly review of submitted projects seeking approval for city permitting. During his tenure on the commission he was apart of the notable approval for the Sherwin Williams Office Tower, Cleveland, 2022.

In May 2020, after graduation from Kent State, he and Ryan Lane founded Studio Nobody as a means of collaboration which has produced a variety of design explorations, competition entries, lighting and set designs, as well as the construction and design of two single-family homes.

His work, both as an individual and as a part of multiple design collaborations has been exhibited at the Weitzman School of Design, the Philadelphia Institute of Contemporary Art and the A+D Museum in Los Angeles with publications in the Weitzman School of Design’s “Pressing Matters”, The Archiologist, Dezeen Magazine, and numerous competitions.
