Ryan Lane

Ryan Lane is a Master of Architecture candidate (‘26) at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design.

Before attending graduate school, he worked as a Designer & Project Manager at Horton Harper Architects in Cleveland, Ohio participating in programming, schematic, and design development while Leading the documentation and construction administration of over 20 different projects. He has experience in projects of varying scales from private homes and multi-family residential to commercial fitouts including the notable design of restaurants.

In May 2020, after graduation from Kent State, he and Jonathan Bonezzi founded Studio Nobody as a means of collaboration which has produced a variety of design explorations, competition entries, lighting and set designs, as well as the construction and design of two single-family homes.

His work, both as an individual and as a part of multiple design collaborations has been exhibited at the Weitzman School of Design, the Philadelphia Institute of Contemporary Art and the A+D Museum in Los Angeles with publications in the Archiologist, Dezeen Magazine, and numerous competitions.
